Now celebrating our 20th year, the Mississauga Waterfront Festival (MWF) is recognized as Mississauga’s Signature Family and Friends event.  

The MWF attracts over 65,000 people to the village of Port Credit over the course of the three-day weekend to enjoy live outdoor concerts, family activities, food and entertainment.   This year’s Festival will take place Friday June 17 through to Sunday June 19, 2016 in the picturesque Port Credit Memorial Park.

The MWF partners with local charitable and not-for-profit organizations and provides donations that help these organizations with their outreach programs. These organizations include: Lions Club, Scouts, Civitans, St. John Ambulance, Chinese Arts Organization, Community Living, Peel Family Services, Mississauga Heritage, Together for Youth, Don Rowing Club and Mississauga Canoe Club.

Through our Sponsor a Child Program, we also invite some 4,000 marginalized families to attend the Festival as our guests.  These special guests are provided with free foodand carnival rides, as well as enjoying the array of performers and have a weekend of fun.  For some this experience is the highlight of their summer.
